Home Health Aides (HHA)

An HHA is trained for health related tasks, they are qualified to be competent in their assignments, for example taking medical measurements, taking blood pressure, taking pulse, taking temperature.

Personal Care Aides (PCA)

A PCA is trained based on the home care curriculum, which must be up to date under the New York Department of Health. This type of caregiver is assigned in cases of stable patients.
